Gospel of Mark Overview

Title: Jesus Christ the Servant of God

Key Verse: Mark 10:45

NASB Mark 10:45 “For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.”

The Gospel of Mark is commonly referred to as the Gospel of the Servant. A quick reading gives the impression Mark is concerned about presenting Jesus’ works than His words, His ministering than the messages He spoke. A more thorough study reveals the details and intimacies of a firsthand account. It’s a real joy to read about Jesus Christ and his ministry. Mark captures His service like none other of the evangels. Here’s a brief look at my divisions and thoughts of the Gospel!
